I really like the board!
What are your centerpieces going to be?
Can you mix in a bordeaux colored flower or ribbon?
If you're doing printed material you could print in that color or put ribbon on them (or on napkins, favors, etc).
Thanks! I really like the idea about the printed material...and I may try to incorporate some ribbon in that color as well :-)
I love your boards too! wow! I think the green shades play off of the bordeaux beautifully, so maybe using ribbons and a few floral elements would be just enough for a "pop". It's sure a resfreshing combo. I loved the handbag on your board too! If you're wearing a crinoline, it would be so pretty dyed that color! or wearing bordeaux colored shoes.
Good luck!
Adding the bordeaux really livens up the color combo, it makes it so fresh and different. It works really well with the green. Maybe you could use in small doses throughout ie flowers, ribbons etc or go big and have the girls wear it?
I love your boards! Especially the deep orange with the purple. The green gives it an unexpected pop that is really inspiring. Have you thought about using the purple in a table runner? I was watching "Whose Wedding is it Anyway" and the coordinator used ribbon on the table for added color instead of an overlay. I imagine that you could find the perfect bordeaux ribbon to use that may be less expensive than renting overlays. I tried to find a picture, but this was the closest thing I could find.
My bridesmaids are definately wearing the bordeaux color dresses. I also like the idea about using a ribbon in that color instead of an overlay for the reception tables! I am sure ribbon would be easy to find in that color. I am trying to figure out what flowers I could use that would be close to that color. Any ideas???????????
Ooo I really like your board - especially the colors. I'll be thinking of flowers...
I am also struggling with which flowers to use for the ceremony...should the bridesmaid's carry one of the orange inspired bouquets or maybe the green spider mums??? I can't decide which I like better....
They look beautiful. I love the color combos
burnt orange, olive green, browns and burgundy/dark purple
Its a very rich color scheme... how about table linens, or colored candles incorportated in the centerpieces.
These are really cute: 5,99 / 3 from Ikea
I think your primary colors would be the burnt orange and bordeaux and use the green as an accent color. For whatever reason, I just think the light color would work so much better as an accent, especially if your BMs are wearing bordeaux. There's so much you can do with these colors, I think your decor will be beautiful. You could carrry the black calla lilies for your bridal bouquet while your BMs could carry the oranges, greens as a complement to your bouquet.

Ok...so I am getting married in October and I have narrowed down the colors I would like to use. Here is my updated inspiration board...please give me feedback :-) I need to figure out how to incorporate the bordeaux (purplish) color into the reception.
