…and I totally goofed on them. I completely forgot to insert the direction card from the venue. Sigh.
To make myself feel a little better, I thought I’d share the invites themselves, which I love!

The whole thing was made on a printing press from 1923. And all of the typeface used is actually from the late 19th or early 20th century. I just love that!
I can’t wait for our guest to start getting them.

So cute! Love.
We had a slight deco theme(the reception building was an old Daniel Burnham) borrowing from design/architechural elements in the building. No one would notice but me!

these are amazing! I absolutely love them. My favorite time period in design. Will the rest of your wedding keep with this period theme?

@mmle: I love paper too!! I just love the thought of getting something beautiful and special in the mail.
@Meowkers: Basically, yes! Well, my dress/look certainly does. My bridesmaids have mostly chosen more mid-century vintage looks, but I’m hoping it all works together anyhow.

@RexManningDay: sounds like it’s going to be amazing. Can’t wait to see pictures.
Our venue was built in the 1920 and had an art deco look, (another favorite time period). so I sort of went with a 1920 hollywood glamour look, but for a while I considered this art nouveau look.
