I think the first ones are fantastic. I love the corn motif...and hey, it's Oct, right (hopefully) after harvest. I used to live in Nebraska and loved seeing the harvesters' lights out in the fields at night when I used to drive to Madison after work to visit my friends.
I really like the corn, too, but I guess it's important to know whether the harvest is going to be a motif throughout your wedding. It's gorgeous, but if it doesn't fit the theme, then I suppose it stands out. The leaf is also very pretty, but just doesn't have as much personality as the corn.
That was the first time I've seen corn used in a wedding invite and I thought they were really charming.
Thanks everyone! You're making me rethink the corn thing. I'm just not sure how else I'm going to incorporate it into the rest of the day. I could put it on the rest of my paper products but any suggestions?
poli2b- The fancy fonts is called Tagettes. The plain on is Cochin. They both came from dafont.com. The one that "postcard" is written in is just one that was already on my computer. I don't remember the name exactly but i could look it up if you wanted.

I'm digging the leaf motif in the background. And the fonts are quite unique. Lovely!

I posted on here a while ago with pics of my first attempt at our invites. (For some reason it won't let me link, here's the first attempt: http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/my-invites-2)
In the past few days I've begun to doubt the corn, so this morning when I couldn't sleep, I redid them. They will still be in the pocket-folds and they are pretty much the same.
Any opinions on which you like better?
Pictures: Invite, Reception Invite (insert), RSVP postcard (insert), other side of RSVP, Map and directions card, back of map card.
Hopefully these show up big enough... if not I'll try to repost.
