I’ve heard a few bad stories, but mostly good stories about Dressily Me.  FX you have a good story. Good luck!

@MsquareM:  I got pictures but I had them agree to them prior to shipping. I got my first set of pictures back and there were two things that needed adjusted. They quickly fixed those and the updated pictures look amazing! You can write to them and tell them you’re willing to wait extra time to get pictures to make sure that it’s correct. They told me that it would take longer if I got pictures, but it didn’t. But yeah, just write to them and tell them you’re willing to wait extra time (if you are) to get pictures.

@MsquareM:  I don’t have any good input, but I just wanted to comment that the model in the first picture looks like gumby!

@MsquareM:  No sorry!  I just meant her pose and body looks stretched and unreal!  not a flattering picture of the girl herself! dress is lovely otherwise!

@MsquareM:  just to add my two cents worth, my experience with dressilyme so far has been really good.

So background, I ordered my dressilyme dress around 4-5 weeks ago (custom sized and a cross-between two dresses that I liked), and the same thing happened to me – they wouldn’t offer pictures because it is their high season. There was no way I was purchasing the dress without pictures so they said they could offer pictures but there would be a longer waiting period, which was totally fine by me because I wasn’t in a rush.

Luckily I did ask for pictures, because I wasn’t happy with the first lot of pictures they sent me (I think around 2-3 weeks after I placed the order). I sent them a short list of what I wanted fixed, and then about a week later they sent update photos and I was so happy with the dress! I then said I was happy for it to be shipped, then they put it through quality control, now its on its way and should be here in a few days.

So far its been great, but obviously I haven’t tried on the dress yet, so my fingers are crossed. Even if there are small details to be fixed I’m happy to get it altered so I’m factoring that in as well.

Hope this helps! I was super nervous about ordering from them because there are a few bad reviews out there and I must have read dozens and dozens of reviews! There was no way I could spend $3000 on a dress so for me it was worth the risk.

From my experience so far, my only tips are that:

– It is really important to be specific about what you want when you order,

– Request photos if you can, and

– Be specific about what alterations you want.

@MsquareM:  no worries! I think it just depends on the dress – mine was a fairly detailed dress so I was a lot more worried about it. But some other reviews I’ve seen have had dresses turn out really really really beautiful without pictures. Keep us updated! 🙂
