Beekeeper
Well, bees, it is time for my last recap...
This one just has some of the details that might have been missed in my other recaps. Please feel free to visit my other recaps, if you haven't done so already.
You can view each of them at the following links:
I must say that the wedding was amazing. We had a few mishaps; like the cake was not what we ordered, one of my aunts spilled wine on the floor right beside me, but luckily it totally missed my gown.
Another aunt helped clean it up off the floor. I would have helped, but there was no way I would have been any help in my gown; it was just too big.
The aunt that helped clean up the wine saw my train bustle and decided that it would be nice to foof it because it was something she had always wanted to do, but never had, so she did and there went the pearls that were holding my bustle up.
Luckily, the pearls weren't on very tight, so the gown stayed in tact, but my planner had to scramble for safetly pins to bustle it back up. I would have love to have had a picture of that moment, but unfortunately I don't.
At the end of the night, during the cleanup, the planner's assistant tripped and dumped the contents of one of our bathroom essential boxes on the floor, breaking one of the glass containers. I was just glad she was okay. The container was only about $5.00, so I just made sure she was okay and told her not to worry about the container. I probably used a coupon when I purchased it, so it wasn't a huge loss.
And last, but not least, the aunt that helped clean up the wine lost her pocket book, so we looked for that for awhile. Apparently, they had brought their huge poodle dog and the poodle dog was laying on it in the car.
Other than that, the day was long but perfect. Everything was a blur the day of, but things are slowly coming back to us while we are looking at our pictures. It did sprinkle the day of and the grounds were soaking wet, but the sun did come out for about 5 minutes and we were rushed outside for some pictures before it disappeared again.
Since the bee has been acting up, I will post the pictures separately. I want to make sure this part doesn't get cut off :-)
P.S. I will more than likely not be on the bee as much, so if you would like to contact me, please pm me. I am on facebook, so you can reach me there too; just send me a pm and I will send you my name.
