What kind of vases do you want them to be sitting up on?
definetly colored ones as clear ones dont look great... We were going to have them on wire stands.. but the hardware store guy wanted to charge us 21.00 each!! so I said meh to that.. and trying to find something else, I might try a few other places to get something cheaper :D
You could try colorful candlesticks!
ETA I am aware these arent colorful LOL, I just thought they'd be a good example.
This is amazing! You can definately use those after the wedding too...don't let all that hard work go to waste! I thought making those tissue ones would be hard but THIS must have taken you forever!!

lol. It took 4hrs.. :S well.... actually it took 1 disk of season six of one tree hill and I think at some point I switched over to veronica mars series :D My study is blessed with an nice tv and dvd player. Was a good thing FH was out n about otherwise he wouldve been neglected, poor guy!
Man, I wish I could think of something like that...I love buttons!

I started a button ball the other night my latest DIY project with this one as a mock up.. and I couldnt wait till it was all completed i.e on a stand, before sharing. They look really good in person, so I hope the photos do it justice.
we are using these button balls to decorate the reception venue as we are not allowed to have candles according to the venue contract and I think we will only be making 8. 4 orange and 4 red and in between our twig centrepieces. I think it would be best if they sat on vases. Its mainly just to add color to the reception
Anyway, that may not make sense but I included piccys! I have yet to gloss over it yet, so it may appear a little dull.
