That pretty much sums up everything for me. I’m so glad that I have this type of relationship with my FI.

Mr. Galoshes is hands down my BFF.

One of his friends asked me once (when he was in the room) “Mrs. Galoshes- why don’t you let Mr. Galoshes go out the bar with just the DUDES?!”

Mr. Galoshes *before I could say anything* : “Why doesn’t she “LET” me?! Did it ever occur to you that I don’t want to do that? You go the bar to scheme on chicks… That’s not my idea of fun. I have more fun drinking beers on the couch watching sports with her.”

@theEguarantee:  Oh my gosh. #8 & #13 especially for me!

In my past relationships I always thought the whole “My boyfriend is my best friend” thing was for super needy/codependant girls. I didn’t realize I was just in unhealthy relationships where I didn’t feel supported and couldn’t be myself. While I totally consider my best girl friend my BFF, my FI is another best friend for sure.

I can’t image marrying someone who was NOT also my BFF.

Or even staying with a significant other who was not also my BFF.

Haha #14 – when I work outside all day I usually have a bath when I get home, and my DH always comes and sits in the bathroom to talk to me while I’m in there.  I love it!
