Will do. I think I will still do some light crystal garland or maybe some fairy lights on it. I just love that I can plant it after the wedding is over.
It's beautiful! I love that you'll be able to use it after the wedding. I see so many pretty wishing trees and I always wonder what's going to happen to them after the wedding.

I got my tree!! Instead of a dwarf Japanese Maple or Weeping Cherry, I got something called a Baby Twisty Locust. It is so gorgeous. It almost looks like a giant Bonsai. It has all of these great twisty branches. It will top out at 8'-10' and grows fairly quick. It's 3' tall right now, but it may grow another foot before the wedding.
I talked with my nursery and it can be keep in the garage over the winter with no problem. They suggested just stacking mulch bags around the pot to insulate it.
They best news... The pot and tree were 50% off. I told the nursery what the tree was for and the owner loved the idea. They knocked another 10% off and asked me to bring in pictures after the wedding
. Total cost for tree, pot and soil= $50. Woohoo!
