Im sorry but I think the belt looks odd where it is, and the pearls I think have ruined the lace.

But thats just my opinion

I think the belt cuts you off rather than the dress flowing down like it does in the original. Depends if that was the look you wanted though I guess!

Hmm, I think I have to agree about the belt, I think it seperates the dress too much.  Having said that it is very important to remember that is is YOUR dress and YOUR day so if you like it, go with it.  The dress fits beautifully though, really hugs your figure in all the right places; and I like the beading, very delicate and pretty =))

Agreed, the belt does cut of the visual flow of the dress BUT I do love the pearls on top!! Gorgeous customization!

I really, really dislike the ribbon. It looks too shiny and out of place and really interrupts the skirt.

QueenBfour:  Just untack the belt!  I actually really like the pearls but with the belt the dress has too many “sections” going on – pearl bodice, lace, belt, skirt.  The lace will flow into the skirt better without the belt.

QueenBfour:  just take the belt of 🙂 it could work if it was around your waist but then you’d lose all the other details. X

QueenBfour:  I am sorry you are getting so much negativity towards YOUR dress. I love the sash where it is. The only change I wouldn have made is to not tie it and just stitch it right around with no bow on the back.

That being said, I think you look absolutely stunning. The dress looks amazing on your figure! And if you want to put pearls on your lace dress and not wear it how it came off the rack, good for you girl. You did it very well. Congrats on your wedding!

I love it! And i love the changes you made to make it your own… my only revision would be to sparsely add (or remove) some beading below what you have so that the transition from beading to lace is smoother and flows a little better! other than that, it looks great!

QueenBfour:  Yeah, the belt does really disrupt the flow of the dress, and to be honest, I have to agree that the pearls are a little distracting.

I think adding more of the darker beading along the sweetheart top will make your dress POP the way you wanted!
