natural light is prefect,!!

 the flash isn’t flattering.

The powder you are using, is too light for your skin.

^^^^^^ agree. Does the foundation you used have spf? The ingredients in spf reflect light and so your skin could appear lighter with a flash. Other than that, the natural lighting looks STUNNING!

@Khalessi3:  Usually that lightness with flash happens when sunscreen is used in a product. Occasionally it happens if too much HD powder is used. But that it’s there in the flash and not in the natural light pics implies to me that it’s a product with SPF protection. And, yeah, unless it’s an outdoor afternoon wedding, that should probably be changed.

OP, I loooooooooove your eye makeup! I think it all looks great.

@distracts:  that’s what I thought, I couldn’t remember the name HD.

and I agree if your wedding is outside, in the daylight, you should have no issues, the other two pictures are flawless and beautiful.

I went a whole year wearing a cover-up that an 80 year old woman working the Chanel counter sold me and nobody told me:( All the pictures of me from that year appear like I’m trying to rock a goth look and I wasn’t!!

so I try to be as honest to everyone else to save them the trouble.

It looks really “painted” to me. The foundation is a couple of shades too light as Khalessi3 mentioned. I’m also not 100% on the blush placement/colour. I don’t think it goes with the lipstick & eyeshadow (which are both very warm). It also looks like you’re using it to contour. I think bronzer would work better in that position & to use your pinker blush on the cheek itself(with a bit on your forhead & chin to tie in the colour)

I like your eye makeup but I agree with previous posters that your  face looks lighter than your body especially in the first just change the powder/foundation shade and you are good to go! The look itself that you are going for is very pretty!

@FutureMrsCooke:  no problem! I’m mixed so people have a super hard time matching my skin tone, I have super yellow undertones, too! and in teh summer I’m more brown and in the winter I’m a yellowy beige.  I have had more problems with make up artists trying to figure out how to match my skin…I was so sad when they closed the Perscrpitves counter down forever.

The last pic is nice and I don’t know anything about make up but would agree something doesn’t look right in first photo

@FutureMrsCooke:  looks gorgeous!!!! you are very pretty. Ask your MUA is she used a foundation with a physical SPF. That is why you looked washed out in the first picture. Chemical SPF’s will absorb the light and not reflect it like a physical SPF will.

@FutureMrsCooke:  I personally wouldn’t go with a foundation that has SPF because now when you load on the powder and bronzer it doesn’t look natural in person. You have such a beautiful skin colour, you don’t need bronzer. And your skin is flawless so don’t hide it behind a mask! :)
