Love! Those look fabulous and very professional! Great job!
Thank you! I'm very excited about how they came out!
wow, those look perfect! they look even better than the inspiration picture. the blue sounds great too. good job! martha would be proud.
They look awesome!!! (and I don't give out three exclamation marks lightly!)
Love them!!! How did you attach the lace? Where did you end up buying the candle holders?
Those are beautiful! Looks great! How did you adhere the lace?
I bought all the glassware from the dollar tree...SUPER CHEAP! Then I just used a hot glue gun to adhere the lace to the glassware. The glue gun kinda left a seam along the edge where the glue was, so I'm going to try using adhesive spray when I make the rest of them. It really was pretty quick and easy!
Thank you again! I'm very proud of how they came out. :)
So inspired right now - they look incredible (you are the next Martha Stewart!)
OHHH, so cute! I love them! They look so elegant- great job!!
I am thinking about doing something similar for my centerpieces and I was wondering if you have a picture of your centerpieces from your wedding? I would love to see them with the dark blue underneath!
I ended up not doing the blue underneath. Here's a pic from our wedding, anyways!

Very very pretty. I'm doing lace wrapped votives for our rehearsal dinner.
If you don't like the look of the hot glue you can always use double sided tape. I'm actually doing something like this using parchment paper. I can't have an open flame at our venue and I don't like the look of the battery operated candles in plain votives, it give a beautiful glow with the paper wrapped around.
I had real candles in mine. It's not considered an "open flame" when in a votive like this.
looks fabulous!! i'll have to save this into my inspiration folder
Looks awesome! I have seen the same inspiration picture, but it's so cool to see someone that actually made them - especailly since they came out so good. Congrats!
I saw this Martha pic too and thought I'd never be crafty enough to do it... yours look beautiful! Well done!
Thanks everyone! :) I'm very proud of how they came out.
I love this look! So beautiful. Where did you get the floating candles from? I was looking at the same candle holders at the Dollar Tree. If I'm not mistaken, Rocks Glas Candleholders (4"), and Glass Cylinder Vase (7")? :)
I've just been trying to figure out dimensions to fit in the holders. Any additional info from your research would be amazing.

So here's the image that inspired me:
And here's what I came up with! I'm so pleased with how they came out! (please excuse the low-quality cell phone pics. I swear, the flames are not huge!) Also, the white circles are just place-holders for now. I am going to dye some white dolies midnight blue (the color of my bridesmaids dresses) to add a little color to the tables since our linens are ivory.
What do you think??
