Aww, awesome party!  Can I ask how the shower worked with a honeyfund?  (I’m not the biggest fan of them, but I’d like to know how they are executed at a shower!)

@FutureMrsLadolcetta:  Oh, awesome!  It sounds like you had a good balance of a traditional shower with the modern flair of the honeyfund!  I think if there is still something to open, it makes it much more acceptable for me.  I just can’t wrap my head around a shower when the only option is the honeyfund.

Glad you had a good time.  I would never donate to a honeymoon registry.  Poor taste to ask others fund your (general you) vacation.

I never give money for gifts.  It is very unpersonal.  If all registry items were purchased, I would not get a wedding gift for the couple if all I had to chose from was a dreadful honeymoon registry.

@hemoncdr:  I don’t think the op really needed your negativity. You didn’t even comment on how nice and fun her shower turned out. I bet your one of those that doesn’t like honeymoon funds but has a $600 dyson in their registry. Like Seriously?!?

@FutureMrsLadolcetta:  I think your shower looks super fun! And I’m so glad your registries and honey moon fund worked out! I’m having the honeyfund for the wedding and doing a lingerie shower, which I’m sure it’s super tacky on here as well but pretty normal in my circle of friends!

@FutureMrsLadolcetta:  lmao! We are all hispanics in my circle, so we don’t offend easily either. My sister wants to turn all the games nasty! Like adding “dildo” into the what’s in your purse game and pulling one out of her purse. But then again that’s how we are. I can’t wait till my shower on the 26th. I hope it’s as much fun as yours sounds it was!

@FutureMrsLadolcettaMy question is sincere, what do you have for a option for guests like me who never give cash, would never give anything off a honeymoon registry?  There are a lot of people out here who find any sort of cash registry extremely rude and offensive (honeymoon registry=cash registry, but fancy name).  And I get invited a great deal of places.  Your shower did turn out very lovely.

@MrsPocahontas-I wasn’t being negative.  Her shower did turn out lovely.  And I said I was glad she had fun.  And no, my registry did not have a $600 Dyson on my registry.  I made it very clear that my husband and I did not want gifts, and anything we recieved would in turn be donated to the Hope Lodge (we are both Hematology Physicians).
