I know destination weddings aren’t for everyone but anyone who IS considering one – I highly reccommend it! I had the most amazing week of my life with family and friends, and my husband and I now have so many special memories to take away with us. We got married at Dreams Los Cabos and they did a great job. The resort specializes in weddings so it was old hat for them and they knew exactly what to do. Personally, I’m not sure I’d return to this particular all-inclusive Mexican resort because the nightlife was a little lacking but for a wedding, they sure know what they’re doing.
It’s going to be a while before we get our professional shots so I am surviving off of the guest pictures for now!

mscuppycake: Love these! We are looking into destinations for a small wedding so Mexico is certainly an option. How long were you there for and was everything included? How many guests?

Prettysmile40: We had 30 guests in total and everyone stayed for one week. My husband and I stayed a little longer just to give ourselves some time to relax.
Each person paid approx 1500 per person but this was a nicer resort so there are definitely cheaper options.
It was all inclusive so all food and drink and amenities were included but the wedding was not free for us. We did a lot of add-ons on top of our 3000 dollar base package. Again there are ways to do this cheaper but we wanted some of the nice extras.

mscuppycake: That helps, thanks! It would obviously be cheaper if we stayed for 4-5 nights so if my family members agree to go then I will start researching. You made a beautiful bride..btw! Congrats!

Beautiful. I tried to convince my FI to have a destination wedding, he wasn’t hearing of it. LOL. Your pics are gorgeous though… don’t you love when marriages are ‘old hat’ for a venue? It give you so much more confidence that everything will be fine. I will say though, they have their cons too. I’m working with an ‘old hat’ venue right now and they do seem to be a little stuck in their ways and stubborn when it comes to new ideas/ways to do things.
