Awwww.... what a great representation of friendship. I'd make sure you do something extra nice for her (ie engagement gift)... shes probably very excited to have you for help during her wedding planning as well in the future 
AWWW!!! i have two friends in my wedding that got engaged after we did - one is getting married 2 weeks after, the other is getting married about a year after. the one getting married two weeks after - she gets the throwaway bouquet since we arent having a toss :) i plan on saying something along the lines of good luck and how happy i am for her then giving her the bout for good luck :)

@spaganya - that is such a sweet gesture - i love it! We do not have any, well maybe one single girl invited to the wedding, i might not do the toss either, well, we will see!

My MOH got engaged last night! So exciting!
Yesterday was my 3 month mark till the wedding + first fitting and she was with me helping to get in out of the dress, then we all + our (now) FIs went to dinner and i guess when they got home he popped the question! How nice!
So, i right away asked when is the wedding day....and her response (almost made me cry), i also need to mention that her FI is my FI's best man. Her response was: "we have your wedding to concentrate on then we will think about mine:. Isn't that sweet?
