If some of you aren’t familiar or don’t remember the ring fiasco my finace and I went through last year please check this post out before continuing.
Engagement Ring fiasco…VENT
So after a long and painstaking amount of research and contemplation, lots of encouragement from fellow bees, reading any and all moissy and asha reviews I could find, and many many emails to “Chris” from moissaniteco we purchased our engagement ring and two wedding bands.
I have had the ring only a few short days but I am so happy with it. I actually have to slip it off and put it back in its case when I drive to and from work because I get so distracted by it. In all honesty, the only con I have seen so far (unless you consider your Mother-In-Law calling you out for buying a non-diamond) is that it picks up the color green more than the average stone. Any pictures of the ring with the yellow stones is one of my previous ring, which I love because my lovely fiance chose for me, but it had its flaws (i.e. it was basically fake and low quality and we were cheated).
Here are the moissanite ring set’s specs: The center stone is a 1.5 carot enhanced moissanite, and the accent stones (including the halo)on the wedding bands and engagement ring are diamond. I ordered two wedding bands special from moissaniteco. They were very accomodating.
Sorry if the pics are really big…first time picture poster.

It’s beautiful – and goes lovely with the two bands, too!

Ah, your ring is perfect! Your ring is actually my dream ring, but boyfriend and I both agree on solitaires. Is your ring enhanced moissanite? Oh….and how’s the weather where you are? Cloudy ever?

@Tunacupcakes: The center stone is 1.5 ct enhanced moissanite. Also, I live in Cleveland and the sun almost never shines here. It looks sparkly still, I have more trouble with the flourescent lights at work and wearing green with it. I think if I would have went with all moissanite sidestones I would never notice a difference at all.
To everyone else, thanks for all the kind words. It has been a long ordeal but moissanite’s customer service put me at ease. Chris even sent me pictures of what certain wedding bands looked like with certain engagement rings, if he had them in his store without having to get them from the designer. I think another thread has mentioned that you can tell its hand-crafted by its flaws, and I totally agree. The sidestones of the engagement ring, although there are six of them, dont match up to the same point. Not sure if that makes sense, but one of the sides has a slightly longer row of diamonds. The metal is palladium by the way.

Beautiful ring! I love the double bands. Glad to hear your dilemma finally worked out and you are happy with your choice. Do you mind saying which style# you chose and possibly posting a side picture. I’ve been drooling over similar designs at moissaniteco for days but have been dying to see “real” pictures.

@tarheelgirl: When I get home tonight I will send you as many pictures as you like and I will post one from the side on here as well for all to see. The style# is wed409 with an extra wedding band. The extra band cost a little more than I wanted to pay seeing as its diamond but I am very happy with the package.
