I want to hear if I’m the only one!
My wedding is in 3 days (OMGWTFBBQ) and last night, my BM wanted to practice lacing and bustling my dress. My parents drove into town yesterday, so my mother saw my gown fitted, finished and on me for the first time. My mom is NOT a crier, so when I turned around and she started BAWLING to the point of shaking that her baby had grown up, even I teared up a bit (I’m not a crier either).
Does anyone else have good stories to tell of family members seeing their finished dress for the first time?

@MrsFutureG: My mom was there when I bought my dress, and she just said it looked nice. I kept the dress, even though it was from a failed relationship, and wore it years later when my DH and I got married. At my last fitting I was nearly 30 pounds lighter than I had been when I originally tried it on. I was also in a better mood and my face was all glowing because this time I actually wanted to be a bride.
My mom started crying and so did my aunt, who was my personal attendant. They couldn’t believe how beautiful I looked and that this was actually happening. It made me really happy that my mom was excited like that 🙂
