I think it’s gorgeous, with or without the sleeves! I do think it seems a bit, erm, see-through about the legs, so maybe be sure to wear a slip! 🙂

I think it’s a beautiful dress! The only thing that would bother me is the bodice looks more opaque than the bottom….maybe line it or wear a slip like another poster said?

The dress is STUNNING. Lucky you to have your mothers dress! If you do want to keep the sleeve long you can always get them taken in tight so it will look very Grace Kelly. If the sleeves have to go it will be a very beautiful modern update to such a lovely gown. Win-win. Congrats!
