So I’ve discovered that I have become addicted to this website.
Its in my “must check” rotation with my email and facebook.
I feel compelled to check the leaderboard but sadly am never on it.
I check and follow all my threads and worry about being a thread killer.
I’m finally down with the lingo and want to use it in real life… or IRL I should say
Not sure how I feel about this… On the one hand it is gettig in the way of me doing other productive things. On the other hand it’s a better way for me to talk about wedding details instead of boring my friends and Fiance
Anyone else have a similar problem –if one should call it that?

@HourThyme: Yep, I’m a certified WB nut. 🙂

@HourThyme: More than I care to admit. When googling wedding related ideas, I would always stumble across this website, so eventually I thought what the hell, I’ll make an account, but probably won’t use it much. Fast forward a couple months later and it’s part of my “internet routine”. Also, when I first started coming to the site, I told myself… oh I wouldn’t post my dress, now I shamefully post it evert chance I get!

Oh yeah!!! And I can view it on my phone which is bad news!!!

Me too. But the crazy part is I am a mother of a bride, not even the bride. Came on here to get ideas and buy a few items and wham…I can spend hours reading the boards. My routine is check work email, check personal email, look on wedding bee…where I get stuck.

I’ve been late for work because I’ve spent too much time on the bee in the morning….I think I’m a WB-aholic

Yup, this place sucks me in, as well! 🙂

The first step is admitting you have a problem.
I’m alone in a foreign country away from my fiancee, and I literally know absolutely no one here. And I do archival research all day. So I’ve become like, embarrassingly addicted to WB. I also find myself, during skype dates with Darling Husband, bringing up WB stories and saying “what do you think about that?” And he goes “AH! You are Weddingbee-ing me again!!!”
It’s an interesting window into wedding culture, and honestly, male-female relations (and female-female relations). Justifying it as intellectual curiosity makes me feel better about binges. 😛

Hi…I’ve got long periods of down-time at work and I spend most evenings alone. Talking to the bees makes me feel less lonely.
