mrstattoo10816:  Did anyone flush the toilet after he threw the rings in? If not, you can call a plumber to use a scope and see if he can locate them.

mrstattoo10816:  oiy, that sucks! I’m sorry! But to be honest, my first thought was also “why weren’t you wearing them?” after I saw that you were just laying in bed.

mrstattoo10816:  Oh no! This is terrible. I would definitely not use that toilet and call a plumber. Hopefully it can be saved!!

mrstattoo10816:  I am so sorry- omg!!!!! The best advice I can offer insurance wise is if the company gives you any hassle ask your doctor to provide a note just briefly stating heart problem= swelling. The note alone should get them to back off immediately. I hope a plumber can retrieve the rings. It’s one of those freak things that could happen to really anyone so this is why insurance exists. <HUGS> I hope you feel better soon!

mrstattoo10816: oh no! I’d try scoping them with a plumber and also call insurance to figure out my options.

kids are crazy. They don’t understand that actions have consequences and think toilets are magical.

no use crying over spilled milk though I’m really sorry. This sucks.

Its a really bad freak accident sort of thing.  I can undrestand how upset you are I would be really upset too if something like that happened, but really nobodys fault.  Not your fault and not your nephews fault, kids will be kids after all! I hope you can retrieve it though.  Keep us posted.

soontobebee:  Why? How is that relevant? I take mine off all the time because I’m not really a “ring person” and it feels weird sometimes.

mrstattoo10816:  OH NO! Ugh, what a pain. I hope you’re able to get them back. Kids, man …

Wait you your sister and her son were in your room. You go potty leaving sister and her son in your room.  Son takes rings and throws them in the potty where you were.

I think your sister is most at fault, if he took the rings while she was in the same room as him.  My first thought was why is the door open when you were going to the potty?  If he opened the door you teach him some manners and tell him to stay out.

It seems like neither of you were watching the child very well.

I remember when the idea of loosing my rings scared the begezzus out of me And I never let them out of my sight…2 years married now I pribably would set them down in a dish when I’m home and not worry too much, so it could happen to anyone!! I hope you get them back!
