Yea I need to learn to hold the camera straight so my pics don't look like their leaning. Lol.
I really like them....I would add longer feathers in the top though. Nice job!
how set are you about having feathers? they seem a bit out of place? Are those fake flowers?
I like them. Are you going to put anything in the vase...marbles, maybe? That might fill some of that empty space.
I like it! May do 3 feathers instead of 2? And large ones would look nice. O like your vase! Are you planning to fill it with red rocks or maybe red colored water? Good Job!
Thanx everyone. Yep, they're fakies and yes I'm set on the feathers. I like the suggestions of taller feathers. I'm looking into getting some. I am adding vase filler and floralytes. I probably should've said that. Ha Ha. Sorry. :-/
Love it...
Can I ask where you got the sash/ribbon that goes around the vase?
Love the feathers!! And the idea of having three feathers instead of two is a great one. (The two feathers sort of look like rabbit ears.) Is it in your budget to go with three feathers?
I agree...a few more feathers (maybe longer) and it will be perfect! LOVE THEM!
Very nice! I was thinking add more feathers as well but I thought as a collar at the bottom. But the top would be nice as well. Show us the revision if you do it!
msicequeen: Thanx. I got hat ribbon from Walmart.
rosepinkslipper : Thanx. Adding a third feather is definitely do-able. I'm just looking for some longer ones.
WDWBride: Thank you.
Champagne Wishes: I am def going to do it and I will post revisions.
Those are definitely unique. I really like your theme damask with a touch of red. I love the way you stick to your theme in all your wedding things. I can't wait to see a pic of your centerpieces with the filler stuff in the vases... Good job!
You know what I have seen before...someone used like shiny plastic paper wrap...to fill the inside of the vase..turned out really cute...It was just swirled around inside all the way up to the top. I think it would really make it look 10x better. And I agree with another bride...either ditch the tiny black feathers on top...or make them stick out higher. Other then that I love the idea.
I like them...but, the feathers on top look funny..what about putting the feathers in the vase? It would fill it and you would still get the look of feathers
I like the feathers inside the vase idea too! What if you had long black feathers in the vase?? That would be gorgous! They are realyl pretty, nice job! Abou how much did they cost?

Sorry, there are no users yet.
So you may or may not have seen my first run on my centerpieces and if not check it out here. Those were OK but I found myself liking them and not loving them and for my day that just wasn't enough for me.
So I started over. New flowers. Bolder flowers. These were the flowers that I've been stalking since I started planning this wedding. Why I didn't purchase them at first I don't know. Lesson learned.
And they match my bouquet and bouts which can be seen here.
Roses, feathers and bling!! I truly love them!!
What do you think?
