@renwoman:  The exact thing happened to me while shopping for a wedding band recently.  All day I kept seeing such beautiful sparkly rings and wished I had chosen a different ring.  The saleslady offered to clean my ring for me while I browsed and when she brought it back it sparkled like crazy under the jewellry store lights.  I actually thanked her for making me fall back in love with my ring.

Haha I know the feeling! Iread a bee posted about cleaning her ring with dawn and baby tooth brush or something so I figured id give it a shot and it looked so sparkly after! I couldn’t stop looking at it (still can’t 😉 ) . Can’t wait to get it professionally cleaned!

Haha. I do the same. I start to look at other rings and I now know that it means it’s time for a clean. I use a MAC eyeshadow blending brush (because it’s super soft) and washing up liquid in hot water, and it comes up like new. I also take it to the jewellers to be professionally cleaned every 6-12 months. It’s time for it to go soon actually. Thanks for the reminder!

Enjoy your *new* ring. x
