So bees, look at this version of my STD’s! Let me know what you think…I’m always open to suggestions!
Also note, the background silver glitter will be actual silver glitter paper backed…not just a photo of it like this is! I just put it on to get the general idea.
I’m also thinking about sticking some fun confetti in each envelope!
I want it to be fun, so people look forward to the party!!!
Any other fun ideas and suggestions are very very welcomed!!!

I love the idea, especially the glitter backing paper!! My only critique is there’s something about the 12 31 13 I don’t really like.. did it not look right all in a row? It just looks too disjointed to me, like I don’t immediately think it’s a date when I see it, just a bunch of numbers. It might just be me, though!

I think they’ll make people smile when they see these. Very cute! My friend put confetti in his Bday invites once, it was cute. You should do that too. Too bad it can’t shoot out when they open them, like a popper. lol!

Cute!!! I actually like the numbers like they are – kinda shows that they are counting down?

Hey fellow Minnesota Bee! Love them!

I lvoe the copy of “Let the Countdown Begin” but with the #’s curving down it seems like they should be in decreasing numerical order (but clearly they’re not b/c it’s the date)…but something’s disconnected. I think if the #’s weren’t curving down it would make more sense. (Not sure if that even makes sense).

@laurel946: GLITTER!! they are super cute, I will have to agree with some of the bee’s about the numbers. When I first read the card I read 1,2,3,1,1,3 instead of 12,31,13 its super cute just took me a moment to realize it was a date.

I hear what you guys are saying about the numbers. My sister did the same thing when she looked at it! Problem is, it looked super boring straight across and she agreed when I showed it to her!
I love that it looks like a countdown at first, but I’m still trying to decide if I kind of like the whole thing about people not knowing it is the date until they get to the “113” part or if it leaves people going waahh? Haha I thought the break up of colors would aid in that? Idk. Haha
@echolove: If I could do that…..I totally would! Pretty sure gma would have a heart attack! Haha

@laurel946: I see what they’re saying, but considering its a save the date, I may initially think, “What are the numbers?” And then I would say, “It’s a save the date! Its a clever way of putting the date in like a countdown!” I think they’re beautiful!
