    I think it’s lovely 🙂 you look beautiful in it. Had I done more research on buying replica’s online I probably would have given it a shot! I love it, show us after the alterations as well 🙂 I’m curious..

    The dress is lovely! But, it sounds like you are having to do a lot to make it work for you – all those alterations sound like hundreds of dollars!

    Have you tired any of the online used dress sites? Like recycledbride or bravobride or preownedweddingdresses or oncewed? Maybe you can find one from a former bride for a decent price?

    I agree with the alterations you want to make. Especially number one. Some of those things will probably take time and be costly, but like you said, cheaper than buying another. I really like the dress! I can’t wait to see it altered. I think you should stick with that one and work with a seamstress. I’m sure if you ordered another one there would be the same amount of things you want to change.

    I’m looking for the seam at the waist and not seeing anything. I think it’s gorgeous on you!

    @ontariobride:

    OH I see what you’re talking about now, I think the difference is that the replica looks like it was made out of 3 separate pieces & the original out of one perhaps.

    I would talk to a seamstress and see if they have any ideas or tricks to minimize the seam.

    it looks like the seam has some beading on it,which is perhaps why it stands out? that may prove to be time consuming[$$] to remove/lessen.
