So, I’ve been working out with the P90X series for about two months now, but because of time constraints, I’m only on week five! For the first 30 days, I was really into it!! But then, Tony and his crew go and change the workouts!
Just when I got used to the darn thing, it changes and I’m struggling again! I consider myself to be pretty fit. When I work out, I like to burn, but I don’t want to feel like I can’t accomplish anything or complete the workout. That’s exactly how I feel when I’m doing P90X. There seems to be no relief!
So, now I’m in week five and will have to force myself to complete two workouts Friday and Saturday and a yoga session on Sunday simply because I put off working out for the whole week.
(In my fifth grade voice) P90X IS HARD!!!!
In the past, I’ve commmited myself to 5:00 am workouts with a boot camp, run 5ks, 10ks and one half-marathon. I’m feeling really beat up right now by this P90X workout system! I know I can do it, put working, wedding planning, decorating house and trying to find a flexible grad school program is a bit much.
It works! That I do know. I’ve seen subtle changes in my body because of it. My arms are nice and tight, my shoulders are to die for, and my back is getting little definition.
I’m gonna suck it up because I KNOW I can do it. I just have to be motivated. I should start thinking about how I want to look during my wedding week in Jamaica.
That should work wonders!
