FI and I live in DC, but we’re getting married in our hometown. We realized we have some very real concerns about the venue that we were ready to sign a contract with, and in the process of leaving no stone unturned, we stumbled across a location that actually might be perfect for us. The trouble is that we can’t exactly fly across the country to go see it right now.
My parents, bless them, offered to drive an hour from home and sit in the ferry queue on a day’s notice so that they could see it before my father has minor surgery next week. The folks at the venue couldn’t show it today, so my parents are making the drive out tomorrow, on Father’s day, so that I can get pictures of this venue before we go any further with the other one. I’m overwhelmed with gratitude.
In conclusion, my family is amazing.

Aww that’s great of your parents. Hopefully, the venue is perfect for you guys, and your father’s surgery turns out well.

How wonderful! You are blessed to have them. (I have incredibly amazing parents, too. I don’t know what I’d do without them!)
