Absolutely love your bouquet! It's simply gorgeous!!!! It sounds like (and looks like) you've done a nice job of conveying your theme, but in a way that isn't too over the top.
So far that doesn't sound like too much. It seems like a lot when you write it out like that, but remember so many of those details are very small. Like the shoes, people might notice that they're peacock, but it's not like they're on constant display. The boutonnieres are also tiny details that will just look like they match the bouquets. As long as you don't start putting full size peacock centerpieces around, I think it looks more like a color scheme with pops of feathers, than a full on peacock wedding.
I think its great. I went with peacock stuff as well. I had purple shoes that day, but I had bright blue shoes with a peacock feather on it for my bachlorette and rehearsal dinner.

Love it! It is not too much peacock but it's enough to carry the look across different elements of the wedding.
I absolutely love it all!! I really don't think it's over the top!
Thank you guys for all of your comforting. I'm already feeling better about it :)
All of my peacock items were from buyers on Etsy. If you want the info for one like the bouquet, just private message me!
I love it all. And I love Etsy, I am getting a few items from there site as well. Don't forget that this is your day, so you should have anything that you want.
I don't think you have too much Peacock at all. I was planning on being a Peacock bride as well (recently I have become vintage inspired) and I planned to have EVERYTHING PEACOCK including centerpieces, guest favors, the cake, guest book, ring pillow, flower girl baskets, programs...everything would have had a Peacock on it except the limo. So you are doing just fine and your bouquet is gorgeous.
just saw this and everything looks so beautiful! I really love the peacock idea(s)! I just love all those "peacock" colors together! =)
I LOVE it. It's not over the top at all. I think it looks good. You didn't overdo the theme which can be easily done. I think you played off the theme well!

Hi bees! I need some reassurance so that I don't drive myself crazy these next few months thinking I went too peacock-crazy with our wedding. I didn't want to make anything too, themey. So I incorporated peacock, royal berry purples and blues, vintage keys, damask, and mustaches/lips into the decor of our wedding. I wanted each element to be done tastefully. But now looking from afar I feel like the peacock may have dominated a bit.
So far here are the things I've made "peacock" - and there's some pics to go with it.
My invites have one strip of peacock graphic on the side
Bouquet has peacock colors and some feathers
Bridesmaid bouquets will be a smaller version of mine
Each bridesmaid is wearing black suede pumps with a peacock clip embelishing the ankle of the shoe
Groom & Groomsmen boutinieres each have one feather and a purple flower (very small)
I'm using two brass, vintage birdcages and putting floral arrangements inside that will resemble my bouquet
And last but not least- my shoes. I'm having them hand painted. And these incorporate my colors in a peacock pattern while also including a damask print.
I've also included my dress and veil just so you can get an overall idea of the look I was going for. Please give me your honest opinion. I have many other things in my wedding 20+ between guestbook, photobooth, favors, cake, etc. So I'm just focusing on these things to actually carry that peacock look. And I hooope I didn't take it too far!
Below is a mock-up of what my hand-painted shoes will look like.
My birdcage veil will have one of those peacock clips (just like the one on my bridesmaids' shoes) clipped along the comb of the veil for a little pizzaz.
Thanks for all your help gals.
