I would like to introduce my custom made E-ring/wedding ring. I’m from Sweden and here we don’t have so many rules anymore regarding the styles of E-rings and wedding rings. It is more common that the wedding ring is the blingier of the two but you could have a large E-ring as well. I had a 0.45 ct brilliant for my E-ring but I soon started to long for more and bigger diamonds and a more vintage style instead of modern. My FH had no problem with me upgrading but we both thought it to be nice to incorporate my old diamond into the new ring for sentimental value. The best way to do that would to make a three stone ring. I had Good Old Gold pick out a pear for me as the center stone and then the setting was custom made after my design here in Sweden.
I’m super duper happy with the outcome. I will not wear the ring as an E-ring before the wedding since it will be the actual wedding ring. I will probably buy a vintage style band sometime in the future just to get the “two ring look”.
The gallero of the halo is shaped as an M since that is my FH’s initial.

That is stunning!
I’m thinking of having a three stone ring made with a pear-shaped colour-change garnet and my mum’s engagement diamond (only about 0.25ct) that I have in my jewellery box and that’s cemented that it could work.

That is just beautiful and so original! I love the pear, and love that you incorporated your first stone into it. This now ranks amongst one of my top favourite three-stone rings!
Wear in good health & much happiness!
