Hi bees!
So I came across this picture of katy perry and I fell in love with her hair and the headband. :] I'm thinking of possibly doing something similar for my wedding! What do you think?

it's cute, but it doesn't go with your dress, imo. i'd stick with what you've been trying already!

So cute! I could see it with your dress (but probably not in pink...unless you were going to incorporate more pink into your look). The only thing I'd consider is that it's a little young looking (like high school me would have one in every color), but if that doesn't bother you I say go for it.

Slightly flatter roll in the back but pretty similar, hopefully my bangs will be in okay shape

Love these pics Ladies! Here's a "do" I have been dreaming of... (actually, I got the pic from another Bee who used it as her inspiration.) I have long, curly, dark hair, and I wouldn't be going with a flower...
Here's my inspiration and then my actual hair. I wanted it just like the inspiration but with more defined curls and she did a great job!
PS I think that hair would go great with your dress. It really has the same old hollywood glamour look. It would look great with a beaded bridal headband.

@SweetRose2011: Well I planned on wearing a different headband clearly, because I have no idea where she got that one! haha :P But I was thinking of an ivory one with either a flower or feather accent on it :) But I would love that pink butterfly one for everyday, its totally me :) haha

Loving this thread! I go for my hair and make-up trial next week! I'm very torn on if I want up or down. My hair has never held curl very well, but I'm letting my hair grow -- so I want that to be showcased! lol. I've found a half/up half down I really like -- maybe I can get it on here.. and I'm really liking the low messy buns in the back, with the side braid in the front!
Well it won't let me update from work -- maybe at home :)
I am probably going to do this because I dont want extensions... and prefer to have some hair down.
i love this..although i dont know if my hair would cooperate and do this, so i might have to put it all up
