- Wedding: July 2014 - Prague
Hello Bees! I’ve been married for just over two weeks and my wonderful friend and photographer has already finished our pictures. She has also done a blog on her website; http://www.jmcsweeneyphotography.co.uk/20042/uncategorized/jessica-and-phil-a-wedding-in-prague
The blog includes MANY pictures. If you want the shorter cut, I’ve chosen a few here and will make a few comments. It was a wonderful day and (other than my DIY hot-mess hair) I wouldn’t change a thing.
My bouquet, which I absolutely loved, complete with a picture of my mother on her wedding day so she could be with me.
The “other” shoes. Actually, my shoes were sort of a fail as well. My gorgeous red pair, worn for the ceremony and pics, were slightly too large, and really annoying. After the pics I changed into the second pair. But my feet had been in heels all week and I have become a wimp in my old age, so I quicklly changed into flats for the rest of th evening. Still. I loved my shoes!
First look pics:
My adorable husband:
Our recessional (“Ain’t That a Kick in the Head”)
My fater-daughter dance. Hilarious. Bees, a word of advice: PRACTICE.
My nephew (the little one) and my BFF’s son breakdancing, born showmen. 🙂
The next on is actually a guest picture, but it makes me crack up, so I’ve included it.
Our cake, made by my wonderful cousin. My husband and I met playing an on-line war game, Kingdoms of Camelot, so our cake is our nod to that! It’s hard to tell in the photo, but the shorter knight is wearing a veil. 🙂
I didn’t have bridal party, but these are my Prague girls, including my photographer. Still working it 20 years after we all met!
The rest of the pictures were taken two days later, at various locations around Prague, since our actual venue was out of the center. Not at all embarrasing walking around the most touristy parts of town dressed up!
And the very last one was one while we were waiting for our taxi to go home. We were doing selfies, but a stranger offered to take it.
