While I haven’t been totally out of shape, I wasn’t where I thought I was this past winter. So I kicked it up a notch. I did the Brazilian Butt Lift in May, then started training for Tough Mudder and now I’m training for a triathlon.
These events have been great motivation, but the best has been a friend of mine who has been my workout partner.
I was wanting to see what progress I’ve may from April to now. The photos are April 19th, June 12th, and July 11th. I am so happy, and wanted to share here.

Wow, you’ve toned up tons! That is amazing, and what a great idea to take pics like that! I just restarted training for a 5k, so I’m going to steal this idea and take pics when I get home tonight.
You should be so proud of yourself! You looked good before, and you look even better now! You’ve even motivated me!

Holy crap! You look amazing, you are clearly working super hard. How inspirational! I’m living in a really strange environment where most of the activities I used to love aren’t really open to me here. But I just bought the Jillian Michaels Body Revolution and am only on Day 2, and you are clearly my new inspiration!
Also, I have to ask but it might be TMI… Your boobs look hugely awesome in that last photo. Do they look more pronounced from working out, or is it the bathing suit?

@Mrs.LemonDrop: Hahaha I love your question. But I have noticed my boobs look much better now then before. Less fat in there, but the muscle seems to have perked them up. I upped the amount of pushups, pullups and chin ups, so maybe that is what’s doing it. Thanks!
Stick with Jillian and you will be happy. My friend did that workout and she looks amazing!

@laflaka88: I started doing Brazilian Butt lift, then I signed up for Tough Mudder with a team of people and had to kick it into high gear (I didn’t want to be the weakest). So a friend and I do the Tough Mudder circuit (the tough mudder level, there are three levels) on Wednesdays – moving to 2x per week next week http://toughmudder.com/tough-mudder-boot-camp-training/
At the same time I stopped buying a Transit Pass, and started Biking everywhere.
The last month I have been running 4-5 times a week as well (5k), and doing strength training before the runs. Mostly focusing on upperbody and core strength to prepare for Mudder. I hate running, so this is a struggle, but I focus on the feeling afterward.
The I signed up for the triathlon, so I have started open water swimming.
I used My fitness pal for two months and took my calories down to 1200 (the lowest for my size) from about 1600-1800. I used to really just eat and sit and drink, so I have cut all that down to a more managable level. I don’t follow a diet, just try to balance everything. I can’t eat fried food as of this year because of my gallbladder anyway, so that has helped!
When watching TV I sometimes get restless now and do squats and pushups during the commercials.
It has really changed my energy levels. I hate sitting still now!
