Yup, time to watch his poop!  Did you check to make sure he didn’t drop them off somewhere else?  Under the bed?

Yikes. You’re going to be on poop patrol. I’ve done this before (with a baby though) and it’s pretty nasty.

if he JUST ate them you might be able to induce vomiting to get it up that way. I’d be more concerned about the diamonds poking him than sifting through poo. I’d call your local vet and see what they recommend re: waiting it out or inducing vomiting.

Hydrogen peroxIDE. Wait about 15 to 30 min and BAM throw up. It works on my lab every single time. Check the Internet for proper dosage amounts for pound dog.

I’d call your vet and explain. Maybe they can help you before you begin giving your dog anything to induce vomiting.

Poor pupper! I hope he’s ok. And I hope you get your earrings back.

I agree, if it JUST NOW happened I would go the peroxide route. I suggest getting in the bathtub with your pup for easy cleanup, so you don’t have to clean puke off the floor.

@Serey:  LOL. He’s so cute.

I have to say, don’t freak about the studs puncturing his intestines. My friend’s lab ate literally an entire giant Halloween-size bag of Tootsie Pops, with the wrappers and sticks and he was fine. Not saying that was a good idea, but shit happens.

They are not gone, do not fret!

Might I suggest when all the drama is over, you have your earrings safely back and cleaned, and your pup is resting comfortably… that you do one of those dog shaming photos and post it here? Those make me LOL every time 🙂
