I reached out to all my married guests and asked them to supply me with digital images, if possible, of their weddings.  I displayed throughout the cocktail hour to get people talking and moving around.  It was a big hit!  The staff at the reception hall then took all the photos and displayed them in the main hall for the reception, on the mantels and at the bars.  All the most important people to us had larger photos.  People really liked the idea and would go around looking for other's photos, in all I had about 50ish photographs of family and friends at their weddings.  The best part was looking at how styles have changed.  The old photograph was from the 1920's and the most recent was my cousin Raquel who had gotten married in January.  There were civil marriages, church weddings, destination weddings, recommitment ceremonies.

Doctorgirl, after looking at the pics, I see what you mean.  His smile, is what makes him look like Obama.  Tanya, the whole Beyonce thing, I can see why you may think so.

Those pictures are gorgeous, and I LOVE your shoes!

The bridesmaid dresses were all satin eggplant dresses from Jim Hjelm.  My favorite part is that they were (for the most part) all different.

They purple shoes were capparos they aren't sold in that shade anymore.
