It's super cute!!! You look totally different in each pic. It really is the perfect summer cut :-)
Thanks everyone! I know, it's totally different...I've walked by multiple people today who have had NO IDEA who I am. Weird. And, in some cases, awkward. Maybe I need a nametag. :P
super cute cut - you can totally pull off any hairstyle - and I LOVE the dress in your first pic!
love that jcrew dress!
wow, usually people look better with short or better with long.. you seriously pull off both! I dig the short.. so cute... it def makes you look more mature (in a good way!) and shows off your face structure and eyes so much more! good decision!
Thanks! I discovered that dress here on the 'Bee and it's one of my faves!
@BeachFanatic: Thank you! That's one of the reasons I wanted to do it...I was hoping I'd look a little older. I'm working on my PhD and I'm tired of people on campus thinking I'm a high school student on a campus visit. Ha. ;)
It is dramatic - but I LOVE IT!
And I do think you look older!
Wow, I loooooooooooooooooooove it!!!!
It's SO stylish and SO chic and SO cute! LOVE!
I love it! Its darling and so chic! Great job!
I think it looks fantastic!!
PS - love that you can see the Batman building in the background! I'm a middle Tennessee native and it makes me feel like I'm seeing a glimpse of home!
@Candy_Nee: Haha, it IS pretty distinctive, isn't it! Glad I could give you a little glimpse of home!
@everyone else: Seriously, thank you so much! You're so sweet and you've made me feel really good about the new 'do!
HAHA I agree... love that you can see the bell south tower! If I a turn my head the right way I can see it out my window... but I can't see you and your cute hair with this crazy fog/storm we have going on right now.
@Moose1209: I know! The rain stranded me in a store because I literally couldn't see out the windows and I was NOT trekking back to my car in that. Unfortunately, being stranded in a store meant I had to buy a cute new dress for my birthday tomorrow. Sigh. ;)
Well of course you had to buy a birthday dress. It would have just been silly not to.
@Candy_Nee: I also noticed the Batman building. I loved Nashville when I was there. :)

Two months later, I dove in and did the post-wedding chop. I figured, go hard or go home, but it feels super extreme. I think I love it...what do you think?
At my bridal shower (sorry it's blue, I'm not blue in real life):
After (awkward self-pic, sorry):
Woot!
