Sorry it has taken me this long to finish this post!

When I started the first "first look" post it stopped letting me upload pictures and so I never got to the first look. Then I went on my honeymoon... and so it has been awhile.

In my last post I mentioned that when we got to the park (and original ceremony location) the rain was coming down and my girls and I were waiting in the limo to see if the rain would die down. While I was in the limo my groom was waiting for me in our beautiful first look location.

When the rain subsided a tad we decided to go ahead with the first look. I got out of the limo and got to see my dad for the first time.

Then our lovely entourage helped me and my massive dress get over to the first look location.

While my groom is still waiting patiently...

I am now alone walking towards my groom for the first time.

I tapped him on the shoulder and from there we enjoyed the first time seeing each other in our wedding garb.

Eventually we couldn't take the rain so my groom grabbed an umbrella and we made the final decision that we were going to use our rain plan and have the ceremony at the reception location

Despite the rain and my dream for a beautiful park ceremony being squashed we were beaming with love and happiness.

And so were our bridesmaids and groomsmen who were watching the first look from a distance under umbrellas.

From here we had to set up a plan to let all the guests know about the change of plans. It was an hour before the ceremony was supposed to start and so we left my MOHs husband at the park just in case anyone showed up, sent a GM and a BM to the hotel to get the list to all the guests and my MOH and my groom just started calling guests from our cellphones. The rest of the wedding party and family tore down my beautiful park ceremony that they had already set up with an aisle of petals and rows of white chairs.

After everyone was done we were off to a covered location, suggested by the photographers, to take some more pictures.

Despite the rain and my dream ceremony being ruined we were happier than can be and our photographers got some great shots. Everything our wedding parties and families did for us on this morning really made us feel loved and filled with joy.

@jamiemichelle: My dress actually didn't get dirty. I was (or someone else was) always carrying it until right before the bridge. And then my groom held it for me afterwards. Honestly though I didn't really care LOL I was just so happy (I didn't care about much that day). There were a couple leaves and things that the girls brushed out when we got to the ceremony location but it really didn't get that dirty. It got A LOT dirtier from dancing at the reception.
