You are so stunning! I love your hair. It's perfect! Congratulations on the marriage.
Your hair is absolutely gorgeous (I've admired it before, but may not have mentioned it), and I agree that your flowers are stunning!
Thanks for taking the time to post the recaps.
Yaaaay! I have been reading all of your recaps and was waiting for the last one! :) I just want to say that your wedding was absolutely beauuuuuuuuutiful! I love all of the little details that went into it and how even though things went wrong (ugh the rain and cake?!) you and your hubby look soooo incredibly happy in every photo.
Congrats!!
Never in a million years would I guess your flowers came from the grocery! They are gorgeous!
just gorgeous!! btw... how do you pronounce your name? it is so similar to mine!
and pity about that cake! :( :(
thanks for the recap!
Wow, I loved all of your recaps! In this one I think your flowers and centrepieces are fantastic!!
Thanks Everyone - I am really happy with how everything has turned out despite all the mishaps!
@ccranetobe: Yes I think we have the same name ;-) It is pronounced Care-iss
@Future Mrs. Martin: ah ok mine is pronounced car riss! and spelt with an I instead of a y! so awseome name!! :D
@ccranetobe: I think that is the difference in accents :-) My parents are from Zimbabwe and they pronounce it Car-riss but Canadians (and I) pronounce it Care-iss!
I love seeing all your details come together in one post, everything looked beautiful!
I love your "so what?" attitude with all the little glitches :)

Ok so I have FINALLY come to my last recap.
I wanted to do a recap about all the little details that we talk about on the boards all the time as that is one of my favourite parts of recaps.
Centerpieces and Table numbers: the centerpieces were pink mini calla's with some curly willow and greenery. Each table featured a different picture of FI and I throughout our relationship.
(All photos by Rachael Dover (my SIL) unless otherwise stated)
Bouquets: Mine was pink mini calla lilies. The girls (I had 3 but I tossed one during the bouquet toss) bouquets were white mini calla's and white freesias.
I was so happy with how all the flowers turned out. We went with Loblaws (a local grocery store) and they blew me away!

My escort cards - I was going to do something fancy to set up the escort cards... but it was my last project and 2 weeks before the wedding I was over it and just went with laying them out. I still think they look pretty good.
Our engravable signature mat. I am really happy with the way it turned out. It looks classy but still has all of our guests notes on it. And we are excited to put it up in our home. We bought it online at Weddingfavours.ca.

My DIY flip flop basket after many guests had already enjoyed some flip flops. DIY tutorial here.
And now this is my sore subject... the cake. IT MELTED!!!!!! It melted before my SIL could get a good picture of it. So many things went wrong on the wedding day that I didn't let it bother me at all - but the pictures definitely bother me! The company who made the cake was very sorry and gave us a full refund (even though they said it was the venue's fault for not storing it properly) when they saw the picture.
My hair and my hair flower: My hair was exactly what I wanted. I must admit I was very picky with the stylist to get it that way but it was perfect and it lasted ALL day!!!!! Thank you to Kathy at Side Street Salon for my hair.
My DIY hair flower was the perfect accent for my hair - my DIY tutorial here.
So even though the rain totally changed our ceremony location an hour before the ceremony was supposed to start,
... and they played the wrong first dance song,
... and my cake melted
... and my bustle broke
our day was beyond perfect. None of those details mattered on the day and I was smiling ear to ear ALL day. We had such a wonderful day and I hope that all you bees have as wonderful a day as we did!!!
If you missed my previous recaps - here they are:
Part 1: Getting Ready
Part 2: "First Look" (without the first look)
Part 2B: First Look (the real one)
Part 3: The Ceremony
Part 4: Wedding party pictures
