I too think J did a really great job (I asked for a Halo, hahaha.... but he doesn't care for them). I love how unique it is - I can't tell you how many times I told him that I feel so bad for girls who are showing off their ring and someone (inevitably) says something like, "OMG, My sister has that exact same ring!" or "OMG that looks just like a smaller version of my cousin's ring!"
I don't think I'll be getting too much of that ;)
@Crebre - I was just thinking that. Our lives are running parallel. I'm surprised we're not pms-ing together, hahaha...

I agree about getting a unique setting. I wanted a halo too, and ended up with a solitaire with channeled stones on the prongs. Everyone's reaction has been that they've never seen anything like it. As much as I love halos, I feel like everyone has one.

Your ring is so pretty! I've never seen a ring set like that before. It's kinda like a half bezel setting or something. Your ring doesn't really have "prongs"---do you know what it's called, that style? Also, I'm loving that cluster of diamonds on each side. Very fun! Did it come with a matching band or have one available?
