@Waitingbee57:  congrats on your engagement! I didn’t realize it wasn’t diamond/moissanite until you said something! Will your new ring look similar? 🙂

@Waitingbee57:  I think it looks very pretty, however I am not good at telling the difference between stones.  As an FYI (so you don’t get chewed out by anyone) many people on the Bee are a bit sensitive (not in a bad way) about the word “fake” when it comes to stones – as not everyone is into diamonds.  Just don’t want you to accidently offend someone who has a ring that is not a diamond by refering to them as “fake” 🙂

You’re asking a bunch of ladies who stare at rings all day! Haha. Surely someone will say it doesn’t look exactly like diamonds. However, it is clearly on your finger and is indeed really there, so it’s real 🙂

I honestly wouldn’t think twice if someone showed me their ring. Does it look fairly similar to your actual engagement ring?

ETA: Just saw your update. You can always explain to people that this ring won’t be your permanent one, it’s just a stand in while your ring is being finished.

@Waitingbee57:  Just tell them he was just too excited to propose and couldn’t wait for the ring to be ready.

From the pics it could be real… the size is believable.
