I’m now officially a two-dress bride. I got an amazing online deal on a Romona Keveza, but it’s way small! With the 10-15 pounds I need to lose for the wedding, it should fit well everywhere except the ribcage. I’m torn between what I should do – what do you think?
The sash is one that I made as kind of a mock-up of what I will make for the wedding. (The lighting in my house is HORRIBLE btw, sorry)

Either the V or the corset. I voted corset because there is less chance of the dress falling down during the day, it won’t matter if you change size a little bit, the corset will change with you and I am just a corset fan over all.
Beautiful dress though.:)

I voted for a corset so you can cinch the bust a bit…it looks like it flares out now and I don’t know that a deeper V cut would help it lay closer to your chest.
Love the sash, btw 🙂

First of all, the dress looks great on you! It’s beautiful.
So, I voted for cutting the back into a deeper V, but after reading pinksequins comment I changed my mind and agree with her. While I think the deep V is more aesthetically pleasing (just my personal preference), I think a corset back would help it lay closer to your chest, and I think it will probably be more comfortable overall.

I agree with everything PPs have written. I feel the corset would be your best choice, it gives you so much more to play with. You look gorgeous in that dress! Congrats on a great find!

Yeah, I agree! I LOVE low-backed dresses, but I’m worried that I would be pulling it up all night or the girls would make a surprise visit, so the corset would help. I’m kind of wondering if I could like…tape it to myself. haha sigh, I guess I’m gonna have to have a heart-to-heart with my tailor.

It’s a beautiful dress! I also think a corset is your best choice, to make sure the dress stays put and fits like it should.

Yes! What a beautiful dress. Definitely the corset, but I love the look of the V! Go with what’s comfortable!
