I just posted my proposal story here: http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/she-proposed
Now for some ring porn!!!
I think the camera really doesn’t do it justice. Firstly, I think the pictures make the stone look too big on my hand. In reality, I think it’s the perfect size. Also, the pictures make the stone seem kind of grey, but it’s a beautiful white in real life, and the sparkle is GORGEOUS. I was given the ring at night so I haven’t been able to look at it under much light, but these were taken in my bathroom and the light in there makes my ring look beautiful. I’m so so happy <3
Also, the specs: model sol300a from MoissaniteCo, 6.5mm moissanite with Forever Brilliant enhancement, size 5.75 (probably could have gone a 5.5 but time will tell) in palladium.

Congrats, and thank you for sharing these lovely photos! I am looking at getting the same ring in 0.75 carat, but all the real-life photos online are of larger carat sizes. Any idea what you’ll do for a wedding band yet?

Thank you everyone! Such kind words 🙂
@ms_snugs: I had the same dilemma about carat size. I started a thread with a poll a whila back when I was trying to decide between 0.75 and 1 ct. You can have a look at my profile and find it if that’s helpful. I should mention that the ring looks bigger pic those pictures than it does in real life. I’m actually glad the stone isn’t as big as it looks in pictures! For a wedding band I’m going to get a plain thin palladium band, like 2mm or thinner. I’ll try wearing both rings on the same hand but if it looks or feels weird I’ll probably swap this ring to my right hand.
Sorry if there’s spelling errors- I’m on my phone.

Beautiful! Love it!!! The bezel setting is gorgeous, and it means you won’t have prongs catching on things. That’s nice 🙂
You’re right about the camera effect…it seems to always make the stone look larger!

@crookedframe: Congrats! It’s beautiful and the stone size looks great on your finger. Also, you’re right, we do have the same hands! (With the exception that I wear a 8.5 and you a 5.5) 🙂
