I know it needs something – it doesn;t have enough pizazz – or maybe it has too much. You decide.
For reference here is our invitation (except the light blue is too dark in this one):
Should I add more text should I leve it as is – should I scrap it and start over?!

@suburbian: I’d perhaps put flowers both sides of the names, and have the & on a line in between them (I like symmetry!) I love the design and colours 🙂

But the RSVP?
The invite is mostly finished (I have a thing for asymmetry) – I just can’t get this RSVP to work out. 🙁

@suburbian: I love it. I wracked my brain trying to think of any good tweaks to suggest and couldn’t come up with a thing. Oh wait, do you need # of people attending?

I’d change “free cake” to just “cake.” Other than that, I think your suite looks great!

@alsgirl: +1 on the names on the invitation
I think both the invitation and the RSVP might look very nice with a very thin border of color? Like a dark blue or purple?

I actually like the “free cake.” It made me giggle.
+1 on the number of people attending.

I think it looks great! It might seem like it’s missing something because there are no flowers or colors, but I think your whole suite is super cute! I’m impressed!
The only thing I noticed is the word ‘dancefloor’- should this be two words? And definitely find a way to notate who is RSVPing.

There’s no place to write their names…

I would put the tiniest stroke around the text on the pink banner. Its just the smallest bit hard to read.
However this is simply a gorgeous invite!

@suburbian: Will the blue on the RSVP match the blue on the invites? I think that might be a good first step. Second, I’m not too sure about the banner over your names – could you try picking up a lighter pink from one of the flowers and then change the text to a darker pink? It’s just a little difficult to read at the moment (I guess that it probably looks clearer on your screen though). Lastly, what would it look like if you changed the A (heart) J thing to the same typewriter font used for the invitation? It will require that you re-do the heart as well, but I think it would be nice if you carried that theme into the RSVPs as well.

Put a place that says whose RSVP it is.

You will want a place for names and or numbers to make sure that only you people you intend on inviting will show. Not their 7 children, neighbor, dog. Also this helps for people who are bringing guests so you will know what name to put on their escort card.
