Hi bees 🙂 We’ve been engaged since Oct ’08, and are getting married 6.30.13. My set is 2 ct tw diamond (I think, it made be 2.5, I can’t remember lol), with the center stone being 1.01. The band is a size 6. It’s loose and spins and drives me crazy, but if I went smaller, I wouldn’t be able to get it over my knuckle :/

GORGEOUS Rings !!
I read your post and saw that you’d been Engaged since 2008, and thought, gee why post an E-Post now ?
Then I realized that you are brand new to WBee… with your Wedding on the horizon… so it makes total sense.
As you are new here, let me give you a BIG Welcome to “the Hive”
You’ll no doubt LOVE this website, and how it can help out with your Wedding Planning needs. Not to mention there is a great group of women here… and exactly WHY so many of us have chosen to make this a must have for our social networking. Be sure and check out the NWR (Not Wedding Related) Boards as well… lots of great stuff going on on that side of the hive as well.

Very pretty set! And welcome to the ‘bee 🙂
Do you have any pictures of it on your hand? Its always neat to see what rings look like when worn vs in the box.

@VeggieBee: I can’t pinpoint why, but I don’t like them together. I ordered a 1.5mm white gold band and am going to see how they look with that between them

Wow what a stunning set! Welcome to the hive 🙂

Gorgeous set and congrats! I have graduated side stones on my e-ring as well so I’m kinda partial 😉

@MrsBlah: maybe all the bling feels like a bit much to you? I think they look lovely together, but if its not your personal style it could be that the diamonds on the e-ring band sitting with the diamonds on the wedding band feels a bit overpowering. I have seen other bees post about unexpectedly feeling this way about their sets of similar style.
If you still dont love the look when you add the gold band you could always try wearing the new band as your wedding band with the e-ring, and then wearing the diamond band as a right hand ring.

@VeggieBee: That’s what I’m leaning towards, or just selling this band or something. I like it less and less 🙁

@MrsBlah: Ughh I also have this knuckle problem 🙁

My friend got what her jeweler called sizing balls because she has a large knuckle, and they seem to have fixed the twisting problem completely! I recommend it.
