Weddingbee boards

so i went to my shower last weekend, and the host (my aunt) had printed 2 sets of the address lables when she did the invitations. she gave me the 2nd set to use for the thank-you cards.

it was so nice not to have to hand address them all. and it was easier than looking through my entire wedding guest list for their address. some lables did go to waste because not everyone came, but it was definitly worth it.

if i throw a shower i will do the same thing, and also print matching return lables with the guest of honors name/address. ( i had return address lables until i moved in with my fiance and my address changed and i didnt want to order new ones because my name is changing soon, so I hand wrote them all. )

yeah it would work well for brides who are opting for lables on wedding invites too, just print 2 sets.

i never liked the idea of the " write your own envelope " thing at showers, it just makes me think of how lazy the bride is. now, at a baby shower, i understand that for some, the baby is due any day and she may not have time or energy for everything. but the host doing the lables is a better option to.
