Weddingbee boards

Just thought I'd share a few pics from my shower yesterday. I was beyond happy and the event was filled with so much love with friends and fanily attending from all over the country.

My aunt hosted and told me we were going to make pizzas. Ok, I thought this will be intersting. However, she surprised me with a Thailand theme shower since I will be heading there for our honeymoon.

Here's a shot of the room all set up! See the cute abthing suits and all the lanterns. All of the favors had lemongrass soap and my favorite treat. Ghiradelli chocolate.

My aunt is so creative. She know that I love to be crafty and am DIYing a lot of elements in my wedding so instead of collecting ribbons to make a rehearsal bouquet. She had each shower guest make a paper flower. They got to choose the colors and on each stem there are feathers and a note from the guest tied on. It is amazing and so beautiful!!

Here are a few more shots from the happy day. Mostly me looking very domesticated. There is also a picture of uncle who made me an album filled with pictures from my entire life. Wow!

The best part of the day was when my mom told the story of how she adopted me from Colombia when I was just a few weeks old. How she had me in her arms for the first time and I opened my eyes and looked right into hers and she knew forever more that I was her daughter. It brought me to tears and i think that most of rooms was crying to. It is just so amazing to have all these women in my life that form my family.
