Sounds like a good start already! Maybe you can give her a bridal book or two? I know I wish I had known about the Bridesmaid etiquette book right when I got engaged, etc. Bridal mags are always good. What about a bottle of champagne so her and her new fiance can celebrate some more!
Oh so exciting! She's lucky to have such a great sister!
It does sound like you're off to a good start! My SIL got me the "Brides Book of Lists" planner. It was my lifesaver! Definitely some bridal magazines, and I've seen wedding flower magazines out there too. Wedding Day candle from Yankee Candle? A gift certificate to a spa near her so that she can get pampered when things start to get stressful?
That's so sweet of you! I wish my sister had thought to do something like that :) Honestly, I'm sure she'll appreciate anything you send, but maybe some nice notecards? She'll be writing tons of thank you notes over the next several months, so it's good to have a supply of cute options!
mcgrew just reminded me that we did a thank you note basket for a bride once. We got her a few nice pens, a bunch of fun thank you notes, wedding stamps and cute return address labels. That would be fun too!
Oh I love the cookies idea! So cute! Maybe also a mani-pedi GC? She will be showing her hand to lots of people!
When my SIL got engaged, the first thing I got her was Mindy Weiss' book, The Wedding Book. It had everything she could possibly want to know. Love the cookie idea too!
My sister bought me Mindy Weiss's book too and I found it to be very useful, especially early on. I sent it to 2 friends when they got engaged. The cookies sound really cute too- you could get ideas from(http://www.cookiesbydesign.com/gift-baskets/wedding-gifts)
What about giving her some stationary? Like thank you cards or bridal note cards? I'm sure people are going to be giving them engagement gifts and she'll have to thank hostesses and shower gifts, etc. So having some pretty stationary could come in handy.
My sister gave me Mindy Weiss's book as an "engagement gift" too! It has been a very helpful resource! Stationary is a great idea also, I received unexpected engagement gifts and it would've been nice to have some special cards or paper. And who doesn't like cookies :)
Haha I'm way too late, but a few days ago, I saw those cute painted martini glasses. I can't remember who they're by, but there was a bridal one that was covered in rings and diamonds! Too cute!

...now I need help! I want to make her feel all the love and excitement in the world. So I want to make her a bridal package, of sorts.
We live 2000 miles apart and I'm going to see her in two weeks for Christmas....should I send a bunch of stuff, or bring it with at Christmas?
What should I give her? Any ideas? She has every mag I know (though maybe not the latest)--I might include a wedding movie or two (she also has loads already), treats? I thought about make some sugar cookies in the shape of rings, dresses, etc.
