If it's irritating your skin, i would not wear it! see if you can return it to the manufacturer?? and head back to your dermatologist to get your current breakouts cleared up asap since your wedding is coming up so soon...
i have heard a lot of great things about jane iredale make-up for sensitive and blemished skin. you could see if there is someone in your area who sells it. good luck! i HATE breakouts! lol (currently dealing with a hormonal lashout on my jawline, UGH!)
It's probably stress. I finished my second treatment of accutane last year and my skin was great! About a month into planning this wedding, my skin broke out and I am back onto accutane. Ask your dermatologist if it is appropriate or possible to take 20mg of accutane a day until the wedding to keep it clear. Do you have any left? Would it be hard to go back into the federal program to get back onto it?
The best cleanser that my dermatologist recommended is La Roche Posay. They have it at some CVS's.
Bare excentuals does not make my skin breakout. Also, wash all of your make up brushes or buy new ones. Change or pillow cases often. Clean your cell phone. Watch your diet, drink water. Get lots of sleep.
Jane Iredale is a good foundation too. I can wear mac Studio FX without problems.
Good luck!
o boy! you need to return it!! if you're looking for the luminiscent look, there are a lot of products out there ... may i recommend?
Prescriptives - Magic powder
I break out all the time but the prescriptives line has been very gentle to my skin. the POWDER goes on like water .. << yes, it's quite difficult for me to explain with words but on your way to return the lancome foundation, stop by the prescriptives counter!

I feel like I am having a war with my face right now.
I used to have terrible acne, and just got off of my second treatment of Accutane in February. The dermatologist said to me, "Don't worry, you shouldn't have any problems with acne ever again."
Well...
Things have been going great until now. Seriously well. That is until last week when I decided to go and by foundation from Lancome. The woman at the counter recommended I get "Illumenesence" foundation and powder. I loved them. They looked fabulous. They were for my wedding, but I loved the look so much, I wore them every day for about 5 days...
That's when I realized that about 25 pimples appeared on my face nearly overnight. I am so upset. I have 5 weeks to go before my wedding!!!
My skin was looking so great before this foundation, that I didn't need ANY cover up!!! I was just using a little bit of it to even out my skin tone!!
That said, does anyone have any great recommendations on a foundation that I can wear everyday and/or a foundation I can wear for my wedding that won't make me break out? Any skincare line rec's? MD skincare? Clinique?
I'm so upset. I love this foundation. Should I jsut save it and wear it for the wedding only?
