So, I posted this back in January about my pet snake, Lunch, getting away from me and not being able to find him. Having been gone for almost 4 months, we assumed he’d either found his way outside and we’d never find him or he was still alive somwhere inside. We figured if he’d died inside, there’d be a trail of ants and we haven’t seen any or smelled anything. Well, just about 15 minutes ago, my brother knocks on the doors to my room, waking me up, saying, “I think I found Lunch! He’s in the bathroom!” Immediately, I get up to look and sure enough, there he is curled up behind a bag on the floor! I picked him up and started putting his tank back together. I’ll need to go shopping tomorrow for his food and new tank stuff. I’m just so excited he’s been found and is alive and well. I want to say thanks to the bees for their kind words and support. I know he’s not everyone’s ideal pet, but he’s mine and I love him dearly. I’m so relieved to have him back.

HonoraryNerd: I’m so happy you found him! I love snakes, all reptiles and amphibians, really. I had the same thing happen with my salamander when I was a kid. She escaped, but then a few months later we found her chillin beside the washing machine.

That’s great! Our snake, Waldo, escaped shortly after we got him and we found him a few days later. He was cold and we warmed him up but he didn’t make it. Poor Waldo.
