I’ve definitely posted my e-ring before, but I’m married now (woo!) and thought I would post a few pics of my mismatched set. They’re totally different styles, but I love how they look together (and separate). E-ring is unplated white gold and the band is 14k yellow. I love the differences in color between the metals and stones and what not.

I love how your rings look together. Really nice.

I think whilst not ‘matchy’ the styles are very complimentary!

very unique. they do look nice together.

Beautiful! Both rings are gorgeous! Does the band get lost under your ER IRL? In the second pic I can barely see the band and it is too pretty to be hiding!

Gorgeous! I’m very intrigued about the use of unplated white gold. It seems like a great balance between white and and some warmth.

@Scintillante: my guy’s wedding band is going to beunplated white gold. It’ll be custom made, but the samples we have seen are a gorgeous colour! I highly recommend checking it out.

@Scintillante: Yeah, I was hooked when I found unplated white gold. I was leaning towards rose, but was worried about it going out of style (it won’t, it’s gorgeous, I was just a chicken), but I’m not really into white metals, so I went with uplated white gold, which is basically a cross between white and yellow. All white gold is slightly yellowish (because, alas, there’s real gold in it), so it’s all usually rhodium plated to make it look super white like platinum. Honestly, some jewelers told me there’s no such things as unplated white gold – which helped me know not to use them…
But it’s a really beautiful option, definitely check it out! My husband got a rose gold band, and mine is yellow, so we completed the triad 🙂

I LOVE both your rings!!!

@Heartly: Thanks for the info! As if jewelers tried to tell you there was no such thing as unplated white gold, haha!!! Personally, I have fallen in love with rose gold…big time!! I just love its warmth. But my wedding rings were already platinum (which I also love) So I got rose gold bands to wear on my right hand, yeah!
@letigre: Ouuuuu, please post pics of your husband’s band when he gets it! 🙂 I have a colleague at work who’s white gold band is unplated after 2 years. It has a slight yellow tint, which is very nice.
