hmm I'm not sure a mantilla would work well with this. Maybe a shoulder length veil?
If you aren't set on having a veil, I'd also recommend just a really pretty flower in your hair with a think headband.
Your dress is gorgeous! I'm not sure I'd go with a mantilla veil. I like the flower/headband idea and perhaps a shorter veil.
Hi! I bought the Harlow dress and I also wanted to wear a mantilla veil, but it just doesnt work. The guipure lace on the dress is too intricate and the heavy beading on the veil competes with it too much. I went with a one tier, pencil edge veil and its perfect.

I haven't started the veil search yet.....they don't really do anything for me. I'm think a $20 one from the internet (what my sister did) I really just want a headband!
A mantilla veil is typically a veil that is bordered with lace and goes on top of your head sans head piece.
Thanks for the feedback everyone! I ended up going with an ivory chapel length veil with no lace. Simple but dramatic :)
Harlow is my dress of choice! I think your veil choice is perfect: the details on the dress are so gorgeous, a simple elegant veil will frame them perfectly.
My wedding isn't until August 2011. If any of you fellow Harlow-brides are interested in recouping some of the cost, perhaps you'd consider selling her to me after your own wedding?

I just bought my wedding dress: the Harlow by Melissa Sweet at Priscilla of Boston!! Any other Harlow brides out there? I would love to see the dress that fits on a real bride :). Here she is on a model (below).
Originally I wanted a mantiilla veil for my wedding - but i am not so sure it works with this dress. What do you guys think?
