I really wanted to get the girls something to use the morning of the wedding while we spend hours getting ready. This is what I have come up with… simple yet very useful! 🙂 After we all down a cup or 3 of coffee that morning I figured we can move right on to adult beverages while still using our own cup.

I typically don’t count anything used on wedding day as a gift, but a coffe mug, with no reference to the wedding, I would actually use again! So I say go for it!

@ashley.young.9085: My sister in law bought us those frap cups from starbucks the giant ones & filled it with candies for the wedding, so we a) could keep hydrated for the wedding with water & B) could snack on some sweets. Then inside was a necklace for all the bridesmaids. It was my FAVORITE gift ive ever been given as a bridesmaid, actually using my cup as we speak! 🙂

I think it’s cute! I would definitely use it, I love travel mugs. I also agree that it’s nice that it just has the name on it and no reference to the wedding.

Eventually move on to adult beverages? You’ve heard of Baileys, right ? 😉 Just kidding, pace yourself!

Just note that any type of alcohol that goes in plastic cups get absorbed by the cup. So you will never get that alcohol taste out of the cup again…. I only know this from my college days when I had an alcohol only nalgine bottle. hehe.
But overall I really like the idea and would use it again. 🙂

@skipanther: Good point! However… I know my bridal party and I think the flavor of booze would never hinder any of them from using the cup. My guess is they would usually put alcohol in it anyways! 😀
