I was eating popcorn last night and all of a sudden my back tooth felt weird. Turns out my whole filling fell out where they drilled out a cavity. Im so freaked right now!
I called my dentists emergency number but didnt hear anything back. I was supposed to start work at 10:30, but cant go into work with my nerves opened to the world!!!
And I found out my dentists office doesnt open until 1pm today. WHat are the odds that i would need to see the dentist early on a day that they open late. So far this day sucks.
Hope everyone elses day is okay.

Plus I hate the dentist. They numb my mouth with two shots of novacaine and I still feel the drilling. Im gonna beg for 4 shots this time!!!!
I hate dentists. I hate that I have nerves in my teeth. They are sooooo freakin sensitive.

Is it super painful? If not, you’re probably not in too much trouble. They will just reclean it and refill it. If it’s painful, then you do have to worry about nerve damage and abscessation. Is there anywhere else you can go?

Are you in pain or just uncomfortable? Try and avoid eating or drinking anything extreme in temperature until you can get it fixed. You can also buy a temporary filling material in most drugstores that have a mild sedative in them to keep the tooth calmed down.

@LemonLavender: I dont think its painful. Right now its just sensitive to water air and everything. lol
Though it looks like a couple dark spots are on the tooth, so not sure if its more cavity or it just needs cleaning. grrrrr
Plus I have to go to work after the dentist. There are not enough people to cover for me.

Yikes, I feel your pain this happened to me about 4 months ago. Thankfully my dentist got me in at 7:40am when it happened at 9 pm the night before (thanked my lucky stars for that one!)
I hope it gets fixed soon!
